About Me
My work as a herbalist is to match a plant to a person and not just tunnel vision on a symptom or the problem that is inflicting the person but looking at the whole person i.e. emotionally, psychologically, physiologically and spiritually.
Humans are likened to a tree whose roots are analogous to the Digestive System aka Gut System. When this beautiful symphony of digesting, absorbing, assimilating and eliminating function is disrupted in the gut we end up with all sorts of Digestive problems like gas, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, belching, nausea, loss of appetite, food sensitivities, food allergies, enteritis, gastritis, ulcers, SIBO and much more.
When there are unresolved Gut issues they can manifest in other areas of the body especially in the female reproductive system where the health of the uterus is co-related with Gut health and also taking into account HPATG axis. Problems like lack of menses, delayed menses, infertility, pelvic pain, excessive cramping, urinary tract infection, weight gain, PMS, endometriosis, fibroids, cysts in uterus and breasts are all signs that the body is craving for getting the help it needs.
